Rebecca Cpin
Rebecca Cpin serves as the Director of Affirmative Action Compliance & Data Analytics in the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Affirmative Action (IDEAA). In this capacity, Rebecca is responsible for ensuring that the university is in compliance with District of Columbia and Federal regulations regarding equal opportunity and affirmative action programs. Additionally, Rebecca investigates complaints of discrimination and harassment, conducts salary equity reviews, and manages IDEAA’s academic recruitment process for full-time faculty positions.
Before coming to Georgetown University in 2009, Rebecca worked in the Office of Enrollment Management at Syracuse University where she designed and administered surveys and focus groups to assess student perceptions and market presence of graduate and undergraduate programs. Prior to Syracuse University, Rebecca worked at Wharton Executive Education at the University of Pennsylvania and she also provided mental health counseling and assessment services at Case Western Reserve University’s University Counseling Services.
Rebecca graduated with honors from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. She earned her Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve University’s Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, with a specialization in adult mental health. Rebecca also earned her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Georgetown University, with a concentration in Strategic Human Capital Management.
Ms. Cpin is a member of the American Association for Access, Equity, & Diversity; the Society for Human Resource Management; and the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources. She is a Certified Affirmative Action Professional, and she is also a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
