- Click the icon once.
- A volume slider will pop up.
- Use this slider to adjust your volume.
- Make sure that the mute box is not checked.
I can't see the closed-captioning text.
Click on the T (Text On) button at the bottom center of your screen. The closed captioning will appear in the bottom left side of the screen.

After I click on the link to the course, all I see is a yellow screen. I can't move beyond the yellow screen.

I completed part of the course and exited. When I re-entered the course, I was taken back to the very beginning of the course. I thought that when I returned to the course, I would be taken back to where I left off.
This may have happened because you exited the course without using the Exit button. For your place to be saved, you must use the Exit button to close the course. You can, however, find out how far you progressed and jump to the beginning of that section: Click on the Quiz Show tab on the left-hand side of your screen. You will see a grid containing check marks for each page that you have completed. You can click on any of the unchecked boxes to enter a section that is incomplete. Even if you have completed some of the pages in a section, you will be taken to the beginning of the section you selected. Don't worry - you can advance to the last page that you completed by clicking on the right arrow (which will be flashing) until you get to a page that you have not completed.
Note that before you can enter the Quiz Show, you will need to complete each section of the course. If you exit the course again, be sure to click on the Exit button at the bottom left-hand side of the course screen. If you re-enter the course on the same computer, you will be taken back to the section where you left off. If, however, you re-enter the course on a different computer, your work will still be recorded, but you will be taken to the beginning of the course. Just click on the Quiz Show link to find out where you left off.
I can't see the whole course page on my screen. For example, I can't see the right arrow or I need to scroll down in order to see the closed captioning.
You should be able to see the whole course on your screen (including the buttons and arrows at the bottom of the screen) without having to scroll up or down, left or right. If you cannot see the whole course, follow these steps:
- Click on the Windows Start menu.
- Click Settings
- Click Control Panel
- Click Display
- Click Settings Under Screen Area, move the slider to the right until the screen area is at least 800X600 pixels (1024X768 pixels or 1280X1024 pixels will work too). The course will be difficult to use if your computer screen is set at 640X480 pixels.
- Click Apply to allow Windows to reset your display settings.
- Click the OK button.
I seem to be stuck on Page 5 of the Visual section. The right arrow does not flash and I can't advance to the next screen.
In order to move to the next page, you must find and click on all six questionable items in the room and answer the questions presented. The six items are: the photo on the desk, the computer screen on the front desk, the "Jesus Loves Me" calendar pinned on the front cubicle, the computer screen in the back, the postcard on the bulletin board and the note on the refrigerator. After you complete your sixth item, you must return to the office once more. The right arrow will then begin to flash and you will be able to move forward.
I seem to be stuck on Page14 of the Supervisors section (the Crystal Ball exercise). The right arrow does not flash and I can't advance to the next screen.
Make sure that you have clicked on each of the photographs and on your organization's logo in both the "Report" and "Don't Report" parts of the Crystal Ball exercise.
After you click on a box it will be highlighted in yellow.
Once you have clicked on all of the images, you will be able to move to the next page.

Do I really need to see the feedback after I answer a question correctly?
Even if you get an answer correct, it is important to be sure that you understand why certain behaviors are appropriate and others are not in any given situation. Therefore, we provide feedback even when you answer correctly. Remember, it's always possible that you guessed! And, even when you didn't guess, the feedback often contains additional information that may be new to you.
